Fine Motor
The smooth and coordinated movement of our hands and fingers are so important for many parts of our daily life. For children - up to 70% of the day can be spent in fine motor tasks, namely handwriting, so developing the pre cursor fine motor skills is important for this hand function.

Always remember - the body learns motor control from the centre first (pelvic control) before it can focus on the distal components (hands and fingers).. so we can only have good fine motor skills when out whole body and gross motor systems are fired up and switched on!
